Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the studio?

The studio is located at 1006 Lafayette St (next to Stella’s). Parking is available on Lafayette St, Wythe, and Franklin.

How early should I get there?

The sweet spot is arriving around 5 minutes before class. We run classes all day and getting there too early can be disruptive. Too late can also be disruptive! We’ll allow you in if you’re less than 10 minutes late but please do your best to arrive on time.

What do I need to bring?

For Reformer, grip socks! We sell socks in the studio as well. For mat, socks are optional. We have mats, reformers, and all props. Wear comfy clothes and bring a water if you’d like.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 12 hours. Our waitlists move and will allow you off the waitlist up to 55 minutes before class. Please do not stay on a waitlist unless you plan to standby.

How hard is class?

Class is meant to be challenging while also restorative. Mat classes start with a yoga flow sequence and move into contemporary Pilates series targeting the full body. Reformer classes offer different series in every class. We often start with footwork and end with legs in straps and target the full body in between. Our classes are more contemporary than classical and use the principles of Pilates, Yoga and Strength Training to create an effective full body workout.

What if I’ve never done it?

You have to start somewhere! We love new faces and encourage everyone to take ownership of their bodies in each class. Modifications and amplifications will be offered to ensure you have a challenging yet successful class.
