The Shed Method
The Shed is Jane Ellington’s signature blend of mat Pilates, yoga, and strength. After 500 hours of yoga training, 400 hours of Pilates training, and years of studying movement in her student’s bodies, The Shed is a cumulation of all that Jane has learned over the last near decade. The Shed starts like a yoga class, and quickly becomes a gently ass kicking experience. It’s sneaky hard.
In any given class we’ll use sliders, ankle weights, bands, hand weights, balls and Pilates rings to create a strong and dynamic practice where you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated. Every class can be modified or amplified to fulfill your needs. I teach intuitively from what feels good in my body to what I see in my student’s body. While I always have a plan in mind, I am fully in the room observing how the practice lands and the energy around it, teaching from a place of complete presence.
The Shed method is designed to meet you where you are—what I love about this practice is that there is always somewhere to start and somewhere to go. You’re never “done.”
